They say that we can only create things that are actually good art after hours upon hours, years of producing things, and that it takes time and considerable volume to get to a point where the work seems at least partially on par with the grand ideas we have in our head, according to Ira Glass’s video about taste.
Here is my start to that process, newly written and previously conceived poems, and other areas of expression that have always interested me–music, art, and so on. The hope is that, amid inevitable imperfections (which in itself, is perfect in that you are the one writing it,) and the process to write better–more honestly, more clearly–are germs of something better, brighter, a voice.
